Executive Director
He is the Current Executive Director of CAP. He is a member of the Bar in Uganda. Patrick holds a Bachelors of Laws (LLB) degree with honours from Makerere University, Kampala. He attended a post-graduate Bar Cours se at Uganda's Law Development Centre. He has worked as an Associate with Omunyokol and Company Advocates and as the Country Coordinator of Pilgrim Africa an International not for profit organisation. He has a background of connecting grassroots development efforts with national policy, Like the recent efforts which influenced change in the national malaria policy, initiating Teso leadership Forum where the regional political and technical leaders discuss and plan regional development issues augmented and backed by experts with a wide range of experience and expertise in systematic research, policy and national development issues. He now provides day to day executive leadership for CAP.
Director Finance and Administration
Malisa Ilalu Mary is Director Finance and Administration for CAP, working in Kampala, Uganda, office. She has over 9 years of Finance and Accounts work with Kampala City Council now Kampala City   Council Authority, Sadolin Paints Uganda Ltd, World Vision International-Uganda as Programme Accountant, Research Triangle Institute International (RTI) as Finance and Administration Manager, Local Government Induction Project (LOGIC) as Finance Manager, all these give her a wide work experience in preparation and control of huge budgets in different international currencies and international organizations and now honored to work with Council for African Policy. She graduated from Nkumba University, Entebbe with a Master of Science Accounting and Finance 2007, Bachelor of Business Administration- Accounting (Hons) in 2003- Nkumba University, Diploma in Accounting, Management and Business Book-keeping -1997 College of Professional Management UK and Certificate in Computer Science.
Odeke Stanley is well versed in areas of field surveys designs and data collection skills, research skills, statistical econometrics and economic concepts. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kyambogo University. . He has a 4 year working experience with different organizations and institutions including Water Governance Institute where he was a project intern in the energy and extractive component and in Bank of Uganda where he worked an Enumerator for both the Remittance Survey of 2009 and 2010.
Administrative Assistant
Winifred is an experience young professional Ugandan woman with a background in Human Resources, Procurement and Logistics, Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology (BIOP), and a Certificate in Procurement and Logistic Supplies from Makerere University. Over the last four years, Winifred has actively contributed to CAPs growth as its Programme and Administrative Assistant. Prior to joining CAP, Winifred worked as Assistant Programme Administrator with Project Shelter Wakadogo, an NGO providing early child education to Orphans and Vulnerable Children in the conflict affected district of Gulu in Northern Uganda. Winifred also gained valuable international work experience having spent three months working with the South African Institute for International Affairs (SAIIA) in Cape Town, South Africa in 2010.
Program Manager
Matua Phillip  is  governance specialist with  over  13 years  of  extensive development experience and  brings  a  blend  of   skills  and  expertise  in   project  management,  organizational  development, capacity, building, social accountability, Advocacy and community Empowerment. Phillip has a master of Art in Development studies, Degree in Development studies and previously worked with USAID-SDS, USAID- Linkage Project and is the Manager Programmes at Council for African Policy.
Accounts Assistant
Sylvia Grace Apio is currently accounts assistant for CAP. School with a diploma in business administration (DBA) 2015 and a certificate in computer Management from Management Training and Advisory Center (MTAC) Nakawa. She worked in the sub-accountant’s office as an intern for two months in osukuru sub-county Tororo district, i also worked with Uganda telecom as a sales agent and with Sajeki agency Ntinda as sales and marketing agent where I was able to gain experience communication and inter-relation skills, documentation of receipts and organizing for different council meeting
AKELLO SARAH is an intern at council For African Policy, I have bachelor’s degree in development studies from Uganda Christian University. Before joining (CAP) I was working in Asuret Sub County in soroti district where I worked as an intern, Temele Development Organization as a field worker and Uganda Bureau of Statistics I worked as assistant supervisor. I have experience in promoting sanitation in primary schools (WASH) activities, monitoring and evaluation, participation and good governance, sensitization on different developmental activities in local committees and supervising people at work among others.
